Jack Ko is a master with a suit, says Tommy Fazio, men’s fashion director at Bergdorf Goodman. He can make anything you want perfectly. And the price is right, too. Adjusting a hem costs $14 without a cuff, $17 with; taking in your jeans is $12, shortening a jacket sleeve is $18. Ko can take a suit jacket down a size for $55, and re-create designer looks. He makes suits by hand, on the premises, unlike others who take measurements and send the specs to Asia (from $1,800 including material; three to four weeks). Basic tailoring takes about three days. Ko will also tell you when it’s worth it to reline your old Paul Smith jacket, and when to give it up.
