Apparently, on this morning’s conference call, J.P. Morgan referred to the money received through the Troubled Asset Relief Program as a “scarlet letter” and then, cringe, “the TARP baby.” Oh, dear. We’re pretty sure that is not a reference he is allowed to make. Then again, it’s possible that the folks at MSNBC are preoccupied with tea-bagging puns and will let it slide. [Bloomberg]
