House Republicans were able to defeat a bill late Thursday that would have provided up to $7.4 billion in aid to people who were sickened by chemicals resulting from the 9/11 attacks. This did not make Democratic Representative Anthony Weiner very happy. (The “gentleman” he is addressing is allegedly New York Representative Peter King.)
