Sharron Angle, Nevada’s Republican nominee for senator, claims that sharia has overtaken two American cities, one of which doesn’t even exist. She believes that there are “domestic enemies” serving in Congress. She warns of citizens taking “second-amendment remedies” if Congress “keeps going the way it is.” And she pulled in $14 million in campaign contributions over the last three months, which, according to Chris Cillizza, is a fund-raising quarter “only bested in modern memory by the $14.2 million Scott Brown raised in January 2010 in advance of his Massachusetts Senate special election victory.”
