Times Columnist David Pogue and Wife Charged With Disorderly Conduct

Uh oh. According to a Facebook post from media-news sifter Jim Romenesko and Connecticut’s Westport News, New York Times tech-guru David Pogue and his wife, Jenifer, have been charged with disorderly conduct after a dispute Monday at their home there turned physical. According to the paper, “Case files in court say that Pogue and his wife were issued partial protective orders prohibiting them from assaulting, harassing or stalking each other.” Yikes. Interestingly, Romenesko noted it was unlikely he’d use the item on his well-traveled eponymous site at journalism clearinghouse Poynter.org. Facebook, on the other hand, is apparently a more appropriate place to air the dirty laundry of high-profile journalists.
