Things we’ve learned about Queens city councilman Dan Halloran over the past ten days: He took part in a bribery scheme in an attempt to rig the mayoral election; he was once strapped to a tree and flogged with a belt by his heathen religious group for “an undisclosed act against a female ‘thrall’”; and — the newest revelation — he had an affair with a 21-year-old former staffer, according to the girl’s roommate. “He was an asshole and a creep,” the roommate says.
