They’ll be talking about this one on Wednesday: Politico’s lead story by Dylan Byers is a piece sourced mostly to “more than a dozen current and former members” of the New York Times editorial staff, all about how difficult executive editor Jill Abramson is to work with. Some media types on Twitter are already calling it a sexist hit piece. The only Times editorial staffer cited by name, managing editor Dean Baquet, told Byers: “I think there’s a really easy caricature that some people have bought into, of the bitchy woman character and the guy who is sort of calmer.” He added, “That, I think, is a little bit of an unfair caricature.”
