Bolstering his image as a doting dad, Anthony Weiner missed two campaign events on Sunday morning because his son was sick. “He has an ear infection and he just wanted to be held so I just couldn’t make it,” Weiner said. The Daily News notes that Weiner also said he was late to a recent mayoral forum because his 17-month-old son put peanut butter on the cat’s back. Cute! Decidedly less adorable: While putting sunscreen on his nose during the Puerto Rican Day Parade, Weiner joked that photographers could get “a good shot of me lubing up.”
