A Long Island Rail Road train struck and killed two people in Queens last night in what the Daily News reports may have been a “suicide pact.” According to the Post, witnesses “saw the pair jump from the platform as the train was approaching the station.” An MTA spokesperson said they were “trespassers … These individuals were up there and obviously they should not have been.” The victims have not been identified.
