When he was campaigning, Maine’s tea-party Governor Paul LePage declared, “You’re going to be seeing a lot of me on the front page, saying ‘Governor LePage tells Obama to go to hell.’” While he did generate headlines for comparing the IRS to the Gestapo and uttering a crude Vaseline-related insult, he hasn’t really followed through with the Obama jabs – until now. Two Republican lawmakers say LePage complained at a fundraiser last week that Obama could have been the best president ever if he had highlighted his biracial heritage – but he hasn’t done that because he hates white people. “Yeah, he said it,” one lawmaker told the Portland Press Herald. “It was one little thing from a speech, but I think most people there thought it was totally inappropriate.” And a few people agreed that our half-white president hates white people, apparently.
