Anthony “IDGAF” Weiner appeared on Good Day New York this morning to blow through his almost-expired talking points and just sort of hang out. “I’ve always had this dream of doing weather and sports on your show,” said Weiner, before his dream came true. But unlike the last time Weiner played weatherman during this campaign — when he seemed a bit tense — today he was almost charming.
A bit of the feisty Weiner did come out when host Greg Kelly pushed him on his political trash talk (“you went to Congress — it’s not exactly Athens,” Kelly said), but if the mayoral underdog can stamp his too-smug side, he might just have a future on TV.
