A man and a woman were pulled alive from the Hudson River near 125th Street just after noon, the New York Post reports: The woman “washed up” at a pier, while the man was located a short time later. Witnesses say that they saw the pair — believed to be a couple in their 40s or 50s — jump off the New York side of the George Washington Bridge in what appears to have been a joint suicide. They were brought to St. Luke’s Hospital in critical condition; both unfortunately died shortly after arriving.
