Long Island Teen Just Happened to Get Into All 8 Ivy League Schools

The future.

Kwasi Enin is 17 years old and better than you. How does one guy get into all eight Ivy League schools? The senior at William Floyd High School on Long Island is a first-generation American (his parents are nurses from Ghana), scored a 2,250 out of 2,400 on the SAT (99th percentile), and is ranked 11th in his class (top 2 percent). He’s now choosing between Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Princeton, the University of Pennsylvania, and Yale, but leaning toward the latter, Newsday reports, depending on financial aid. “By applying to all eight,” said Enin, “I figured it would better the chances of getting into one.” He was also accepted at three SUNY campuses (they call those “safety schools”) and Duke. Just don’t go to Duke, kid.
