Since the “Ukraine was aiming for Putin’s plane” one didn’t really catch on, Igor Girkin, a.k.a. Strelkov, the rebel commander, says “a significant number of the bodies weren’t fresh,” so the MH 17 passengers were probably already dead when the plane was shot down. According to the separatist website Russkaya Vesna, the Associated Press reports, Girkin was told — but can’t confirm! — that the bodies were drained of blood and decomposing, with blood serum and medication among the wreckage. “Ukrainian authorities are capable of any baseness,” he says. As opposed to the rebels, who really like to keep everything above board.
