President George H.W. Bush was released from Houston Methodist Hospital today after being checked in last Tuesday with shortness of breath. The 90-year-old also spent Christmas in the hospital two years ago, when he was placed in intensive care for two months because of a bronchitis-related cough and other issues. Bush was able to watch the Houston Texans football game with his wife on Sunday, and spokesman Jim McGrath said, “He is now resting at home, grateful to the doctors and nurses for their superb care.”
