In a stunning example of life imitating Twitter, the AP was forced to issue a correction yesterday when it accidentally mixed up alleged murderer and star of The Jinx Robert Durst with Fred Durst, the world’s foremost backwards-hat enthusiast. “The Associated Press reported erroneously that Robert Durst is a member of a band,” reads the correction. “He is a real estate heir; Fred Durst is the former frontman of Limp Bizkit.”
