ESPN.com is reporting that the Nuggets, for the first time, have informed other teams that they're willing to listen to pitches for Carmelo Anthony. ESPN's source even suggests that a trade could come together so quickly that Anthony "might never wear a Nuggets uniform again." Of course, the Knicks might not have enough to offer Denver anyway, regardless of whether Anthony likes the idea of playing in New York. Also, Ball Don't Lie points out that Adrian Wojnarowski actually reported this back in August, but his story was refuted by Marc Stein, one of the authors of the ESPN.com piece. Plus, Anthony just recently told George Lopez, "I'm a Nugget, man," when asked where he'll play this season. So who knows what to believe anymore? [ESPN.com]
