The Yankees have just announced that they've signed Larry Rothschild to a three-year contract to be the team's next pitching coach. Rothschild most recently held that position with the Cubs, from 2002 until 2010. (He also served as the first manager of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, back when they were still the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, lasting a little over three seasons.) No word, sadly, about his score on Brian Cashman's specially designed video exam.
