Your costume doesn't have to be the only throwback this Halloween: Karl Denson, the acclaimed saxophonist in Lenny Kravitz’s band, who also recently toured with the Rolling Stones, will hit Brooklyn Bowl to play songs from Prince's beloved 1980 album Dirty Minds.

The attendees won't be the only ones playing dress-up at this concert: Each band will be playing solely covers, in a series of one-night-only tribute performances. The lineup includes the Bottom Dollars (aka Gideon & the White Fuzzy Boots) playing My Morning Jacket, Raccoon Fighter (aka Death Trip) tackling The Stooges, and Secret Someones (aka The Dookies) covering Green Day, plus a set from �Halloween Oates.� A pre- and post-show happy hour with $3 Buds and $6 beer-and-shot specials will keep the party rolling late into the night.

When you take your Halloween weekend to Harlem, you can walk yourself right into the historic Apollo Theater and stay until all the groovin’ goblins have gone. The concert features the classic sounds of New Orleans including a performance by Irvin Mayfield Jr., followed by the jazzy vocals of Dee Dee Bridgewater and the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra. And bring along your best disguise:This soirée is followed by an after-party with even more tunes in the Apollo Soundstage with the funk sounds of the Brass-A-Holics.
