Time’s Up New Year’s Eve Ride
Grab your bike, strap on those skates, or rent a Citi Bike and head over to the Washington Square Arch at 10 p.m. to join the ride. The group heads up to the Belvedere Castle in Central Park to catch the fireworks and dance the night away. "Festive" dress is encouraged for riders.

Fireworks in Prospect Park
There will be live entertainment and refreshments at Grand Army Plaza, or head to the park's West Drive or Prospect Park West between the Plaza and 9th Street for the best views of the fireworks.

New Year’s Eve Concert for Peace
Start your evening on a contemplative note at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine's annual concert. The orchestra and choir will perform selections from Bach, Handel, and more.
Cost: $30 general admission; $100 preferred seating; $150 premium seating
NYRR Midnight Run
Get 2015 off to a running start at this annual event. Festivities begin at 10 p.m. with dancing, live performers, and, eventually, fireworks. Then at midnight, it’s on your mark, get set, go for a four-mile run through Central Park’s inner loop.
Cost: $55 NYRR members before December 30 and $60 day of (junior members $25, $35); $60 nonmembers before December 30 and $65 day of (junior nonmembers $30, $40)
Laughing Lotus Yoga
Have good vibes in the New Year! Expect dancing, chanting, meditating, a kombucha toast, and "passionate movement" at this yoga party at Laughing Lotus's brand-new South Williamsburg location.

Kundalini Yoga and Meditation
Want to go to yoga, but you're looking for something a little calmer than Laughing Lotus? Head to Kundalini Yoga East for yoga, stories, songs, meditation, and more from 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m.

Brooklyn Bridge Walk Into the New Year
Learn about the Brooklyn Bridge, take a nice stroll, and get a primo view of the fireworks on this guided tour. Attendees will assemble on lower Broadway and start at various times between 10:15 p.m. and 11:15 p.m., depending on when a group of 25 has formed. And prizes will be given to the first 200 people to arrive.
Cost: $75 by credit card; $100 cash
New Year’s Eve: A Gershwin Celebration
Dianne Reeves and Norm Lewis sing jazz-themed Gershwin songs at the New York Philharmonic’s annual celebration. Bramwell Tovey conducts and audiences can expect Gershwin’s suite from Porgy and Bess, the Cuban Overture, and more. The show starts at 7:30.
