Senator Tim Johnson

Senator Tim Johnson, D-S.D., is the only member of Congress with a son who is an active member of the military and served in Iraq. Johnson also holds a seat on the Senate Budget Committee and the Senate Appropriations Committe. And he is the colleague of several possible Democratic presidential candidates. All of these combine for unique insight into some today’s most pressing political issues from the effort to win the peace in Iraq, to the massive imbalance in this year’s federal budget, to the race for the White House in 2004.
