One of the perils of living in isolated areas or small towns in America is that medical care can be a long way off. And the situation is not only an inconvenience, it can be dangerous. But the brave new world of broadband — the ability to transmit images and sound instantly and easily from even the most remote areas — changes all of that. The doctor’s office is now a dial-up away. NBC’s Robert Bazell reports.
