Preventing deadly medical mistakes

Hospitals have taken a cue from the airline industry and are implementing measures to cut down on the risk of human error that can lead to a catastrophe. Health officials hope that putting these safeguards in place now will reduce the number of people — almost 100,000 — who die from medical errors every year. NBC’s Robert Bazell reports.
