Saturday Night Live has long been considered one of the best places for America’s comediennes to make a name for themselves. It’s unfortunate, then, that the average midtown celebrity-name-shouter (you know who you are) can’t tell the female cast members apart. “People always confuse me and Amy Poehler because we’re both short and we both have wigs on a lot,” the singularly hilarious Rachel Dratch told us last night at the Gen Art Film Festival after-party at Spotlight Live. “People will go up to her and say, ‘Hey, Debbie Downah!’ And then people will say to me, like, ‘Amy Poehler!’” It gets worse: “People come up to me and say: ‘I love the cheerleaders!’ And that’s Cheri [Oteri] from, like, years ago,” Dratch explained. “And I used to say, ‘Oh, that’s not me.’ But people are so excited about seeing the cheerleaders that last time I was just like, ‘Thanks.’ I didn’t have the heart to tell them.” —Darrell Hartman
