Time Inc. Asks Employees to Walk the Plank

Managing editors from at least three Time Inc. titles sent out memos today looking for editorial staff willing to take voluntary buyouts, as part of the company’s massive “reorganization”: People was looking for eighteen volunteers; Time, twenty; and Sports Illustrated, a whopping 40 bodies.
