Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich says he will “seriously” look into running for president in 2012 if he and his wife decide “it’s necessary.” Considering how widely disliked he is, we’re not sure what would make a no-shot bid at the presidency necessary, but that’s his call. Regardless, with Gingrich stepping back into the spotlight, Rush Limbaugh as powerful as ever, and the Dow at 6,500, we’re beginning to wonder what year it really is.
