The New York Civil Liberties Union is suing the city and the Yankees on behalf of a Queens man who claims he was kicked out of Yankee Stadium by police officers last year for trying to use the bathroom during the playing of “God Bless America.” Bradford Campeau-Laurion says that after he was forcibly removed from the premises, one officer yelled for him “to get out of his country.” The NYPD refutes the entire account, saying Campeau-Laurion was drunk and cursing. Either way, his free-speech case might generate more sympathy if he wasn’t a Red Sox fan and didn’t pose for the smuggest photo we’ve ever seen. [NYP]
