The New York Times is reporting that, according to lawyers with knowledge of the results, Manny Ramirez and David Ortiz (as in this guy) tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs in 2003. (Neither Ramirez’s agent nor Ortiz had a comment for the paper.) Ortiz and the Red Sox visit the Bronx next Thursday, so Yankees fans, remember this from Fenway earlier this season?
