The group of 26 percent of Republicans who, according to a Research 2000 poll, think the health-care-reform bills backed by Obama will create “‘death panels’ which have the authority to subjectively determine whether or not a gravely ill or injured person should receive health care based on their ‘level of productivity in society’” is statistically nearly identical to the 28 percent who think that President Obama was not born in the United States.
