Regular guys compensate with sports cars, so it’s only natural that Bernie Madoff had a fast yacht! The New York Times reports today that the vessel, named “Leopard Bull,” is being quietly (good luck!) sold off:
The Daily Telegraph reported that one of Mr. Madoff’s favorite toys, a 90-foot yacht called Leopard Bull, has been released by administrators to be put up for sale.
According to Boat International, the luxury yacht broker Wyles Hardy has been given the assignment but has been told to keep it low-key and sell it by private treaty, the newspaper said.
Built by Arno in 2007 it has a top speed of 42 knots and includes a “luscious” master bedroom, a double room and a further twin room, plus all the modern conveniences and sunlounger decks.
While we had a middle-school giggle at “knots” and “luscious,” they’re both kind of a stretch (that’s what Sheryl Weinstein said!). No, it seems the most, er, compensatory thing about Bernie’s relatively long maritime instrument is its moniker: “The Leopard Bull” is a small-penis name if we’ve ever heard one.
