Health-care-reform supporters and opponents held dueling rallies on opposite sides of the street last night in Thousand Oaks, California. At one point, two men from opposing camps got into a scuffle that resulted in a 65-year-old anti-reformer getting his finger bitten off. That’s right, not just bitten, but bitten off. “He punched me hard, straight in the face, so I bit his finger off,” the strong-toothed man reportedly told his comrades afterward, as if it was a tactic he’s used before.
