Newsday Takes the Pay-Wall Plunge

Today, Long Island’s Newsday becomes one of the nation’s first major papers to put its entire site behind a pay wall. From now on, if you want to read Newsday online, you need to shell out $5 a week. Of course, the pay wall now means that nobody outside of Long Island will ever visit the Newsday website again, but how many people did that include to begin with? [E&P]
