Former New Jersey governor Jim McGreevey’s successor, Richard Codey, remained in his West Orange home instead of moving into the state’s opulent and awesomely named governor’s mansion, Drumthwacket. Current governor Jon Corzine chose to reside in his Hoboken condo. And governor-elect Chris Christie doesn’t plan on moving in either, so as not to uproot his kids from their schools in Mendham.
