Everyone knows that when you want to read something from behind The Wall Street Journal’s pay wall, you just need to type the headline into Google News and click on the link. It’s kind of a pathetic security perimeter, like a castle that leaves the key to its main gate under the welcome mat. Well, now Google has announced that it is closing the loophole, a tiny bit, by allowing publishers to limit Internet surfers to reading five articles a day via Google News. [Bits/NYT]
