The United States and Russia have reportedly agreed on a new nuclear arms reduction treaty, which will be signed at a later date in Prague, where last summer Obama outlined his vision for a world free of nuclear weapons. That vision isn’t being realized yet, however: The treaty will likely allow the two countries to retain at least 1,500 nuclear warheads each more than enough to obliterate the planet should the need arise.
