In these times of economic hardship and hateful political discourse, there’s something soothing about watching a bunch of people beat the hell out of each other with pillows all around the world. Maybe it’s the joy in their faces as they momentarily forget life’s troubles, or the clear release they’re getting out of bludgeoning a stranger in the head with a sack of feathers. Most likely, though, it’s the realization that these pillow fights are a job-creation tool: Someone’s going to get paid to clean this stuff up, right?
