In a romantic gesture (we’re talking Clinton romantic, not, like, Blair/Chuck romantic), Bill Clinton sent out a mass e-mail this morning asking for help in making up the remaining debt from wife Hillary’s failed presidential bid. Those who respond by donating money will automatically have their names entered into a contest. The prize? A day spent in New York with Bill himself.
“Hillary’s campaign still has a few vestiges of debt that I know she would like to see paid in full,” the former president wrote in the e-mail. “Will you reach out today to help Hillary this one last time? If you enter between now and May 18th, you might join me for a day in New York.”
As of March 31, Hillary’s campaign was still about $771,000 in debt, down from the $845,000 owed at 2009’s close. Courtney, this is your chance!
