Because health officials in the 50th state receive ten to twenty e-mails a week from birthers requesting access to President Obama’s birth certificate, and because Republican governor Linda Lingle has said her team examined the birth certificate on file and determined it to be real, Lingle yesterday signed a law allowing Hawaii to ignore all such future requests.
