Faisal Shahzad made his much-anticipated first appearance in court Tuesday afternoon, where he was arraigned on five felony counts. Clad in a gray sweatsuit, he remained virtually silent throughout the proceedings, which lasted about ten minutes at a Manhattan federal court, before he was escorted out in handcuffs.
