At least 37 people were killed and 175 injured in a double suicide bombing at Pakistan’s “most important Sufi shrine” in Lahore (the country’s second-largest city) Thursday night. The strike was levied at the peak worship time, which is “certain to enrage Pakistanis growing weary of violence that has spiked in the past four years,” the Times says. At this point, no person or group has taken responsibility for the attacks. [NYT]
