Earlier today, politicians, bankers, and regular people screwed over by Wall Street gathered in the Ronald Reagan Building a hilarious choice of venue for a bill opposed by almost every Republican lawmaker for the signing of the financial-reform bill. “Because of this law, the American people will never again be asked to foot the bill for Wall Street’s mistakes,” Obama said. “There will be no more taxpayer-funded bailouts.
