Eight Pakistani military officers, led by a two-star Naval admiral, were on their way from Washington to Tampa on Monday to meet with U.S. Central Command when they found themselves in the unfortunate position of traveling while looking kinda Muslim-y. Tired from the long flight, one of the officers remarked, “I hope this is the final plane to the destination.” A female passenger assumed this was a threat to the aircraft and panicked, which prompted a series of security inspections for the officers that Pakistan spokespeople called “unwarranted.” Despite passing the inspections, the delegation decided to cancel the trip. To be fair, they were probably going to get a similar response from Central Command.
