World Cup sensation Paul the Octopus, who correctly “predicted” all of Germany’s matches as well as the World Cup final, passed away last night in his sleep at the ripe old octopus age of two and a half. Employees at the German aquarium where he lived were reportedly “devastated” by the surprise death, but Paul probably saw it coming. [Bloomberg]
