Much like sitting through a Thanksgiving dinner, watching Anderson Cooper calmly and thoroughly debunk every single point made by birther Texas State Representative Leo Berman on his show last night is both entertaining and mentally grueling. Like most birthers, Berman who is sponsoring legislation in Texas that would require presidential candidates to present their birth certificate to the Texas secretary of State bases his conspiracy theory on demonstrably false Internet rumors and seems unwilling to accept President Obama’s natural-born citizenship unless he personally views the birth certificate himself.
