An Atlantic Southeast Airlines flight hit a flock of large birds while landing at the Little Rock National Airport in Arkansas last night. The commuter plane, with dozens of passengers aboard, rerouted and emergency landed safely 30 minutes later, “with significant damage to the nose.” At least one crane died. [CNN]
