As promised, the Republican Party’s leading reality manipulators enjoyed a quiet pizza date on Tuesday night, accompanied by Sarah Palin’s parents, her daughter, Piper, and Donald Trump’s wife, Melania. The pair met up at Famous Famiglia’s on Broadway and 50th St and enjoyed several cheese and pepperoni pizzas — and each other’s company. “She didn’t ask me [to run with her] but I’ll tell you, she’s a terrific woman,” said Trump.
“We talked about specific candidates and potential candidates, and kind of just what our perception was of each of these folks,” Palin said. “It was interesting. We’re kind of on the same page there.”
