State Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos just emerged from a three-hour conference with the Republican caucus to say that no decision has been made on when to vote on Governor Cuomo’s Marriage Equality Act, or even whether to do it at all. The debate still hinges on protections for religious groups, which conservatives argue don’t go far enough in the current version.
