He sympathizes with the fearful and confused, sure. He’s that kind of guy: “We are in this kind of malaise of some sort. Some of that is understandable. There are real issues that we are facing from Japan, oil, Greece, politics, fiscal deficit, and that explains it.” But at the end of the day, when you get down to brass tacks about what matters, “if you look at it, corporate America is in excellent shape.”
