The street sign was supposed to read “Finlandia” instead of “Filandia” and was supposed to be placed on Brooklyn’s 40th Street (which used to have a large Finnish population, apparently) instead of Manhattan’s 40th Street. You almost got it right though good effort! [City Room/NYT]
