Will God Have Yet Another Candidate in the GOP Primary?

God might already have a full slate of candidates in the primary, but sounds like he’s at least left Rick Perry a voice mail of encouragement. A Perry run is sounding less potential and more probable:

“I’m not ready to tell you that I’m ready to announce that I’m in,” Gov. Rick Perry told The Des Moines Register. “But I’m getting more and more comfortable every day that this is what I’ve been called to do. This is what America needs.”

Perry might have a slight advantage over other God-backed candidates, as he’s already more or less promised God an active administration role in setting financial policy; as long as He gets to rest on the seventh day, He might be interested in rolling up his sleeves.
